Matthew Kremers, ASHRAE 2022–2023 Rochester Chapter President, is now the third generation of the Miller family to assume the role of President.

After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2010 with a degree focused on Energy and the Environment, Kremers got involved in ASHRAE immediately after college following in his grandfather’s (Harold “Hal”) and uncles’ (Chris and Steve) footsteps.

The Miller family has been involved in the HVAC&R Industry for several generations and has been actively involved in ASHRAE as a way to grow connections, share learning with other industry professionals, and stay informed on changing industry practices and expectations.

Being involved with ASHRAE has allowed the Miller family business to grow and expand by continuing to meet the needs of today’s customers.

Steve Miller’s son, Eric Miller, has also stayed attached to the family business industry as the Owner of Modular Comfort Systems with locations in Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo, NY.
