A boiler we’ve had a lot of success with is the Hurst Series 250W High Pressure Boiler with wet back design. This refers to a water wall placed above the fire tube, which promotes superior internal water circulation and rapid heat absorption. This 2-pass design allows the fire tubes to expand and contract at its own rate without tube-to-sheet stress, which reduces (and in many cases eliminates) common frustrations with boilers including deteriorating rear refractory, leaking baffles, and leaking door seals. Those problems had traditionally required continuous monitoring and maintenance, often along with thousands of dollars in materials and specialized labor costs over the life of the boiler. Not anymore.
This boiler is ideal for the internal market and fits easily into a 40-ft shipping container. It also easily integrates with the Hurst FIREMaster control system; a smart controls system that gives precise control of fuel and combustion air to produce top-of-the-line efficiencies.
This model is available in both steam and hot water operation and from 20 to 2500 BHP. For more information on this product, contact one of our sales engineers today!
