DESCRIPTION:
$5000 Sign-On Bonus!
At Modular Mechanical Service, we provide customers with specialized solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial use. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and work on factory-authorized start-ups of commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, air handlers, heat pumps, unit ventilators, cooling towers, boilers, and VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems.
Tremendous opportunity for someone who has an EPA Refrigeration Certification at Level II or higher. We prefer someone with formal HVAC training and a minimum of 2-3 years prior commercial HVAC experience. OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
You must be able to communicate on a professional level both orally and in writing. The ability to use email and fill out reports in Excel, Word, or on customer reports is required.
You must possess a valid NY Driver’s license free of infractions at the time of hire and maintain such throughout employment. Must be willing to travel outside the area of Rochester to Syracuse and Buffalo to service customers from time to time.
How will you be rewarded?
Excellent hourly rate depending on the experience you have. Discretionary bonus available based on performance and specified time commitment.

DESCRIPTION:
- Able to identify new sales or business expansion opportunities and aggressively market the company products and services by scheduling appointments and conducting initial or follow-up sales calls to current and prospective customers, architects, engineers, owners, and contractors
- Maintain professional growth and product knowledge to make recommendations for proper selection, application, pricing, and installation information.
- Prepare and present quotes and submittals, obtain Purchase Orders, contracts, and associated paperwork
- Send in orders for equipment to manufacturers, track progress, and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC Applications or related field
- 3-5 years of sales experience preferred
- Must possess strong communication skills including oral, written, and presentation abilities, and have the ability to persuade and influence others
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate imitative in meeting revenue goals and objectives
- Valid NYS Driver’s license
- Computer literate
