We provide customers with specialized solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial use. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and work on factory-authorized start-ups of commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, air handlers, heat pumps, unit ventilators, cooling towers, boilers, and VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems.
Tremendous opportunity for someone who has an EPA Refrigeration Certification at Level II or higher. We prefer someone with formal HVAC training and a minimum of 2-3 years prior commercial HVAC experience. OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
You must be able to communicate on a professional level both orally and in writing. The ability to use email and fill out reports in Excel, Word, or on customer reports is required.
You must possess a valid NY Driver’s license free of infractions at the time of hire and maintain such throughout employment. Must be willing to travel outside the area of Rochester to Syracuse and Buffalo to service customers from time to time.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Training & Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering training and support to our aftermarket and equipment sales groups and our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a passion for teaching and problem-solving. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to training development, enhance user experience, and support HVAC training needs across multiple platforms and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training programs tailored to diverse audiences, including classroom settings and virtual environments.
- Obtain necessary education and required certifications on unitary and aftermarket products such as, light commercial rooftop units, mini-splits, unitary split systems and related controls and accessories to be qualified to instruct others. Attend seminars, meetings, and read literature provided by manufacturers and other sources to ensure high level of expertise on products.
- Utilize programs provided by manufacturers when available to train our staff and customers. Further develop and customize training programs to include lectures, hands-on demonstrations, simulations, group discussions and written materials.
- Conduct regularly scheduled training sessions with outside contractors and customers, implement course feedback evaluations for measurement of success or determine areas of improvement.
- Continually research and review manufacturers’ technical service bulletins and publications ensuring most recent and suggested products’ installations and services practices are as current as possible.
- Submit training costs and budgets to finance department
- Provide remote and field support to interoffice staff and customers
- Monitor and support all technical service bulletins
- Monitor and support warranty issues
- Identify new business opportunities by building new relationships and enhancing existing relationships
- Work as a liaison between company sales staff and customers when problems arise; arrange aggregable solutions while remaining in the guidelines of company management
Qualification Standards:
- Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC applications or related field is preferred. 3-5 years of field service and technical training experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Must have at the time of hire and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS driver license free of infractions
- Must be computer literate and have familiarity with Microsoft Office software
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills including written, oral and presentation skills. Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

We are seeking an experienced Category I Chiller HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
A Chiller Technician (Category 1) is a skilled professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of refrigeration systems, specifically large-scale equipment like chillers and their associated components. They play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of chilled water systems in various environments, including commercial and industrial settings.
Key responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance and inspections on chiller systems and associated equipment like cooling towers, pumps, motors, and controls.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues within chiller systems and identifying the appropriate solutions.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, and other parts.
- Conducting system performance tests to ensure optimal operation and identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
- Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to effectively troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation of all work performed.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures and the safe handling of refrigerants.

Qualifications
- Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with technical training in HVAC systems.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience focusing on various chiller types is required, along with an EPA Section 608 Universal or Type III certification and a valid state HVAC license if applicable.
- Desired qualifications include experience with WSHPs, RTUs, and SWUDs, manufacturer certifications, familiarity with BAS, and proficiency in reading technical documents.
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Valid driver’s license free of infractions at the time of hire and maintain such throughout employment.
- Be willing to travel to Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse to serve our customers
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
