Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are a flagship product for decentralized HVAC systems, as they provide the versatility and efficiency facility owners and managers desire.  They work by extracting outside heat and pumping it indoors to provide heating in cooler temperatures, but they also reverse this process to provide indoor cooling in warmer temperatures.  This process of redistributing heat offers a significant efficiency advantage, as it requires far less energy than other systems that must generate heat.

A heat pump system is ideal for large, multi-room facilities that have varying temperature needs by area.  Each “zone” is controlled by its own self-contained heat pump, so that areas of the building warmed by solar radiation, for example, can be kept cooler than other areas that aren’t getting that natural heat.

With a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and configurations at our disposal, we have had excellent results applying these systems in schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, condos, nursing homes, dormitories, and many more commercial/institutional settings.  Our engineers are well-versed in these products and will help design the perfect system for your project.
